Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born April 28th 1997) was an American performer and actress. The career of Wuhrer began when she was a teenager. Her most notable role is Maggie Beckett, an actress in the film Sliders; and her character Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter Karin Noble (nee Noble), who works as Payroll accountant as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer (a car dealer and police officer). There are three siblings. She started singing at club nights as a teenager. She would sneak out of her house to sing. She took drama classes in Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College college, and also The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art with a drama teacher who was known as Uta. Kari started acting when she was an teen, and her first break on television was 1987 MTV's Remote Control.
