Lisa Edelstein, an American actress best recognized for her role in House the Fox medical drama. Raised in Wayne with a strict Jewish tradition, she moved into New York City at the age of 18 and began studying theater at Tisch School of Arts. Her performance quickly made her a part of the club scene in New York. Her performances were so captivating that local media took notice. In the end, she teamed her talent and fame with her writing and composing skills to produce a play called Positive Me. In the following year she was recruited by MTV to host Awake on the Wild Side. After the show ended the show, she began appearing on television and film productions, beginning with small roles, and slowly established her acting career.
